These are tools and services for creation, viewing, manipulation & reconstruction, and measurement of 3D objects/models. Some of the 3D imaging tools and services include 3D model viewers, face deformation simulation, before-after report generation, and model reconstruction.
The 3D model viewer enables users to view, zoom in/out, and pan 3D models. In addition, users could apply textures, display grid lines and boundary boxes, and simulate lighting conditions. Information on 3D models, such as model name, description, number of faces, and model texture, are automatically stored in a database.
Face Deformation Simulation enables users to play around with a 3D face model either automatically or manually. Automatically means that the user simply needs to click on buttons to either fatten the face, make thin the face, or elongate the nose. Meanwhile, manually means that the user has the free hand to deform any portion of the model.
Model reconstruction is the process by which shells taken via 3D camera are cleaned and arranged to form 3D models as close as possible to the real object. In addition, the models may also be modified to enhance features.
The Before-After Report Generation is an automated RapidForm screen capture and animation generator. The report contains images of 3D models taken at the beginning and at the end of a regimen, from which deviations are noted down.
